2012 YR & Junior European Long Lists
(British Dressage) – The British Dressage Junior and Young Rider Selection Committee is pleased to announce the long list of horse and rider combinations for FEI European Dressage Championships for Young Riders and Juniors (8 – 15 July 2012).
The 2012 event will be held at the prestigious Dressur Akademie Silvia Ikle in Berne, Switzerland and is the first time in 18 years that Switzerland has hosted the Championships. The event is the pinnacle of the competition season for top young dressage riders in Europe, and is an opportunity for them to showcase their talent at a high profile show.
Last year’s event was held in Broholm, Denmark and the British riders finished fifth in the Junior Team competition. The selectors believe they will be able to compile a strong team for the 2012 Championships and short lists will be announced in due course.
