Call for Volunteers for NEDA Fall Festival of Dressage Show
The New England Dressage Association has put out a call for volunteers to help at what is one of the largest dressage competitions in the U.S. – The NEDA Fall Festival of Dressage.
All ages and abilities are welcome to help NEDA run a show that generally features close to 600 entries! Taking place September 13-16 at HITS on the Hudson in Saugerties, New York, this is an event not to be missed.
Responsibilities can include stewarding, scribing, office help, setup, runners (don’t actually require you to run), awards and more. But don’t forget that we’d also love to teach you the ropes of running a show of this magnitude, so volunteers are always needed to help with the pre-event planning!
The Fall Festival of Dressage is one of three CDIs in New England, and in past years has attracted riders from as many as ten countries, including current American team riders Tina Konyot, Adrienne Lyle and Todd Flettrich. It is one of the highlights of the year in dressage and is an event that riders look forward to. It’s an action-packed four days and the show not only encompasses four shows in one but also takes place alongside the Marshall Sterling Finals at HITS. And adding to the strength of NEDA, the majority of the show is run by volunteers, so without you this show wouldn’t be possible!
