Aachen 2012 Updates – A Win for Sanneke Rothenberger in U25 Grand Prix Competition

(CHIO Aachen) -Sanneke Rothenberger wins the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation, the International U25 Piaffe Prize – FEI Grand Prix, for the second time.

Beaming from ear to ear, she is very happy: Sanneke Rothenberger was able to repeat her victory of the day before in the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation, winning today’s class with her De Niro son, Deveraux OLD, with a score of 71.233 percent. “Sanneke was the clear winner.  We saw some great rides and I am very confident with regards to our German young talents,” stated the German co-trainer, Jürgen Koschel, happily.

The Dutch rider, Danielle Heijkoop, claimed second place with the Gribaldi son, Siro, (70.093 percent). Third place also went to a rider from our neighbouring country – namely Lotje Schoots – who obtained a score of 68.767 percent with Equitop Torricelli LS, a 12-year-old Florestan/Pion son.  The young rider from Krefeld, Annabel Frenzen, followed in fourth place with her Holsteiner Cristobal (67.93 percent).

Germany also won the team classification: The trio of young riders comprising of Sanneke Rothenberger with Deveraux, Annabel Frenzen with Cristobal and Kirsten Sieber with Charly ranked first with a total score of 283.847 points, ahead of the Netherlands (276.592) and Denmark (261.654).
