Dan Sheriff tops GP Freestyle at Pompadour CDI3*

(British Dressage) – Dan Sherriff and Bayford Hall Dallaglio won the Grand Prix Freestyle in Pompadour yesterday (Sunday 1 July).

They took the first place at the French event, with a score of 73.05%. They had also scored second place the previous day in the Grand Prix, with 68.21%. The 13-year-old Laurentianer stallion, who is owned by Dan, last competed at Compeigne in early June where they earned sixth place in the Grand Prix Special.

Other British riders also did well across the weekend. Judy Harvey and the Feuerbrand gelding Fitzcerraldo were fourth in the Grand Prix on Friday (67.14%) and had the same placing in the Grand Prix Special on Saturday with 66.35%. Kay Maxted and Privaldi were ninth in the Special with 63.64%.

Peter Storr was the only Bristish rider to contest the big and small tour classes. He took second place in a field of 34 riders in the Inter I on Saturday with Fabioso, scoring 69.97%. Jane Green and W-Valentime were fifth in the same class (68.36%).

The Pony riders also made the trip to Pompadour, competing in team and individual events. Charlotte Fry and Andexer were the best placed Brits in the Ponies Team Test, finishing in ninth place. Ruth Hole and Bernwode Brokat were best of the Brits in the Pony Freestyle in tenth.
