New British Dressage Database Goes Live

(British Dressage) – Members and supporters of British Dressage will be excited to learn that the switch over to our eagerly-awaited database will take place this weekend!

The new Access-based database has been developed over 18 months and is bespoke to British Dressage’s needs. Improved reporting, increased functionality and a new layout will all help the staff at British Dressage in supporting the membership. It’s the first stage in the BD IT revolution – next stop, the new website which will fully integrate with the database, in the autumn.

As users, you shouldn’t really ‘see’ any huge difference but the main innovation is that we’ll be able to increase digital communication with you – no more post! All members will now receive registrations, renewals and upgrades (horse and rider) reminders and responses by email.

However, we need your help here – if you don’t receive a monthly email newsletter from us, chances are we have the incorrect email address for you or there simply isn’t one registered on the system.

You can add or update your details by logging in to the website – you’ll need your login ID, which for most is your email address, and password. Once you’re in, click on your name on the top right of the screen to access your details where you can change your information. If you prefer, you can email changes or additions to membership@britishdressage.co.uk

If you don’t have an email or regular computer access, don’t worry! There will still be provision to post communications. You can let us know at any time if you do join the on-line world so we can communicate with you quickly and efficiently.

We’re not anticipating any disruption to service over the weekend with the move so use the website as normal and look out for important emails from British Dressage from Monday onwards.
