Danish Equestrian Federation Extends Contract with Rudolf Zeilinger
(Danish Equestrian Federation) – The Danish Equestrian Federation reports that it has extended the contract with Rudolf Zeilinger as coach of the dressage team through the 2016 Olympics. Zeilinger, of Germany, has been coach since 1997. The contract extension means that he will be the coach during such events as the European Championships in Herning 2013, the World Cup in France 2014 and the Olympics in Brazil in 2016.
“Danish dressage is among the best, and this is where we belong. With the wide talent pool of young riders existing in Denmark, I believe that Denmark, in the years to come, will be at the forefront of international competitions, “says Rudolf Zeilinger.
“Danish dressage has evolved tremendously in the 15 years since we have collaborated with Rudolf Zeilinger. Considering the challenges ahead of us, we believe that he is the best to ensure Danish success. Therefore we are very pleased that he has agreed to continue working with us for four more years “, says Jens-Erik Majlund, Secretary General of the Danish Equestrian Federation.
