Another Setback for Wellington Equestrian Village But Dressage Complex Might Survive

Wellington, Florida – Plans for the Wellington Equestrian Village suffered another setback this week when the Wellington city council, which has two new members who campaigned against the project, rejected the developer’s request for a platting extension on a 3-2 vote. The initial plans for the Equestrian Village had included a resort hotel and shopping complex but the new council has already rejected plans for the resort hotel.

According to the Palm Beach Post, developers are now hoping to save their plan to build a dressage complex, which has faced much less opposition from city residents. Click here to read the Post’s coverage.
