Germany’s Hubertus Schmidt rode Lento to victory in Grand Prix competition at the German Dressage Derby CDI4*. Schmidt and the 12-year-old Hosteiner stallion earned a 73.745. Schmidt also placed fourth with Fontane. Placing second was Dutch rider  Aat van Essen with Macrider Premier and a score of 70.553. Third place went to German rider Kathleen Keller and Wonder FRH  with a score of 68.872.
