(Dressage New Zealand) – It was toe-tapping stuff in the main dressage oval at Horse of the Year today, with riders in the CDN FEI Grand Prix freestyle class making some brave choices when it came to music.

The win went to SallyIsaac and Vincent St James with a super test showing plenty of expression and some lovely moments of piaffe and passage, to finish on 61.05%.

After her win in yesterday’s CDN Grand Prix class, Carolyn James had to settle for second in the freestyle, on 60.70% with nothing separating her from third placed Jayne Craike and Showfields Papanui  Crusade, also on 60.70%.

Mandy MacPherson and Tuahu Didgiemon Drum took fourth spot on 56.22%.
