Cecil Pring Named Dressage Canada Volunteer of the Month for July
| Dressage Canada is pleased to honour Cecil Pring of Port Perry, ON with the title of Dressage Canada Volunteer of the Month for July.
Pring has devoted many years to supporting competition organizers in the sport of dressage, while simultaneously running a family-owned and operated boarding stable on Scugog Island in Port Perry, ON, which focuses on breeding quality warmbloods. His most notable contributions to dressage include volunteering many hours as a scribe at dressage competitions. This included acting as an e-scribe for dressage and back-up scribe for the dressage portion of eventing at the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games in Caledon, ON in July. The Games marked Pring’s first time e-scribing, and his volunteer services were nothing short of the high standard he consistently delivers. In addition, Pring has shown true dedication to the CornerStone Farms Dressage Shows, volunteering at the highest level for over 15 years without missing a single competition. And with his friendly disposition, Pring leaves a lasting impression, greeting every person he meets with a smile. “Cecil is the most reliable, conscientious person you could ever hope to have on your team,” explained CornerStone Farms owners, John Taylor and Barbara Mitchell. “He is a team player and always gives his best.” Dressage Canada thanks Pring for his incredible dedication and commitment to dressage in Canada.
