Getting a college education is a necessity for success in many career paths, but the high costs of tuition, student loan debt or an uncertainty over what to major in can lead prospective students to have second thoughts about attending a four year university. The lower prices, smaller class sizes and chance to fulfill most prerequisites required for undergrad work can make community college a valuable stepping stone to success in today’s world.
